Bethel follows the USDA’s guidelines for accommodating children with special dietary needs.
- To view Allergen information for all school meals, click here.
- We offer vegetarian options daily.
- No item containing tree nuts or peanuts is served.
- If your child has food allergies, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your school nurse. Additional documentation may be required for a meal modification.
Bethel may make meal modifications for the following:
- Students with a disability requiring an Individual Education Plan or a 504 plan that includes a dietary need
- Students who do not have a 504 plan but have a life-threatening food allergy that requires medical attention, such as an EpiPen to treat anaphylactic shock
- For students with non-life-threatening food allergies and who do not meet the definition of a disability, a physician can also fill out a “Request for Dietary Accommodation” form.
