Here is new information regarding state testing. We will be testing Willamette 11th grade students starting the week of May 24th. Below is the testing calendar:

English Language Arts and Math will be the only subjects tested. These state tests have been reduced in length considerably and each is expected to require about one hour to complete.
Opting Out: If you do not want your child to take these state tests, please complete these opt-out forms prior to May 17th. If your child does not test, they will be provided with other activities during the testing time.
Essential Skills: The state has waived the Essential Skills requirement for next year’s seniors. Current 11th grade students will not need these tests to graduate and are able to opt-out without academic consequences.
Students in Online-Only: All state tests must be completed at school, even for students taking part in the Comprehensive Distance Learning/ Bethel Online Academy. If you want your online-only child to come onto campus to test on May 26th, please complete this form and let us know if transportation will be needed. If you do not wish your child to come onto campus to test, simply fill out this opt-out form.

Artes del lenguaje inglés y matemáticas serán las únicas materias evaluadas. Estas pruebas estatales se han reducido considerablemente en duración y se espera que requieran aproximadamente una hora para completarse.
Optar por no participar: Si no desea que su hijo tome estas pruebas estatales, complete estos formularios de exclusión voluntaria antes del 17 de mayo. Si su hijo no toma la prueba, se le proporcionarán otras actividades durante el tiempo de la prueba.
Habilidades Esenciales: El estado ha eliminado el requisito de Habilidades Esenciales para los estudiantes de último año del año que viene. Los estudiantes actuales del 11º grado no necesitarán estas pruebas para graduarse y pueden optar por no participar sin consecuencias académicas.
Estudiantes solo en línea: Todos los exámenes estatales deben completarse en la escuela, incluso para los estudiantes que participan en la Academia en línea Bethel.
