Hello Prairie Mountain Families,

A number of our 8th graders have been chosen to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as The Nation’s Report Card, on February 9th this year.  NAEP selects students randomly from across the country to test their mathematics or reading skills.  If your student was selected for testing, you should have received a letter in the mail.  Your student will also receive a copy of the letter to take home.

If you would like more information about NAEP, please visit this link where you can find sample test questions and some frequently asked questions.  You can also watch this video to learn more:

NAEP testing will take about 2 hours and will be administered during the school day here at Prairie Mountain.  If you would like to opt your student out of testing, please contact Lisa Jordan-Zornow in writing by Friday, February 4th.
