Meadow View Update

Meadow View Outdoor  School

Last week Meadow View 5th graders went to Outdoor School at Camp Fire Wilani. Our MV 5th graders got to experience day hikes, canoe trips, smores, and learning about nature in nature! Woo hoo! Check out the pictures below to see what they were up to.

Walk and Bike Day at MV

On Wednesday, May 4th, students at MV walked, biked, rolled and scooted to school. The sun was shining and everyone enjoyed starting their day with a healthy activity. Thank you PTO and Sources of Strength student volunteers!

State Testing at Meadow View

Over the next three weeks, students in grades 3rd-8th will participate in state testing. Each grade level will utilize one week to complete their tests during a test-a-palooza style schedule. On the week that your child is testing, please help prepare them by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast. We’ll have snacks and lots of pep talks here at school to cheer students on and encourage them to show what they know.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Our Sources of Strength Students kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month by hosting a segment on Monday’s Meadow View News. Thank you, MV Sources students, for getting everyone excited about our spirit week. Don’t forget to wear green tomorrow (Friday, 5/6). Green represents the green light to ask for help when you need it.

Next week, we will highlight the Sources wheel by focusing on a section of the wheel each day. Get ready to take care of your physical health, celebrate a mentor, engage in healthy activities, demonstrate generosity and pay attention to your mental health.
