Meadow View Update

K-8 Health and Vision Screening Coming UpFree Adult Health Screenings — Maplewood Library

Student health screenings are performed yearly with grades K-5 and coordinated by Bethel District Nurses. Screening includes vision screening by Oregon Lion’s Club and Dental screening by White Bird Dental Clinic. These health screenings for grades K -5 will be performed at Meadow View on Monday, November 8th. Screenings include vision and dental. Please contact our school’s Health Assistant, Yesenia Flores, if you do not want your child to participate in health screening. 

Vision screenings for grades 6, 7 and 8 will also be provided at Meadow View on Monday, November 8th. These vision screenings will be coordinated and performed by our local Lion’s Club group along with our School Nurse and Health Assistant. Please contact our school’s Health Assistant, Yesenia Flores, if you do not want your child to participate in this vision health screening.

MV Picture Days Are Here!Picture Day: August 15th - FAO UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy

In order to spread out picture day and to continue our health and safety protocols, we have scheduled our K-8 picture day with Life Touch to be spread out over two days. Here are the details:

  • K-4 Picture Day will be on Tuesday, November 9th (spread throughout the day)
  • 5-8 Picture Day will be on Wednesday, November 10th (spread throughout the day)
  • K-8 Picture Makeup/Retake Day will be on Monday, December 13th (8:30-12:30)

Picture orders can be placed online, as we will not be sending out paper fliers/order forms. Visit www.mylifetouch.com and use the access code EVTRFG7F7 to order.

School Cents for Meadow View!

Help Meadow View School win $200 to $2,000 when you shop, dine or see a movie at Valley River Center! It’s easy to support our school. We will earn twenty-five (25) points for each dollar spent at any Valley River Center store or restaurant during this program.
