Irving PTO Community Service Opportunity and a bit of Fun!

The Irving PTO is collecting Winter Themed cards for residents in assisted living facilities in the local area.  Those living in care homes are currently unable to have visitors and this season will be extra hard for them.  Let’s show them that the Irving cares about them by making homemade winter cards.  PTO goal is to pass out the cards to the 102 residents living at Holly Residential and Lone Oak Assisted Living facilities.  Grab some crayons and paper and spread some Irving spirit to the community!  Parents can make cards too!  Make as many as you would like.  Cards may be dropped off in Winter Themed blue box near the Irving office.  Please have cards dropped off by Thursday, December 17th.

A bit of Family Fun…PTO is announcing the first ever Irving PTO Snow Person building contest!  Using materials at home, build your own snow person.  Take a picture of your creation and email to weloveirvingelementary@gmail.com for a chance to win a $5.00 gift card to Dutch Bros.  Be creative, have fun!  Three winners will be announced at the December 16th PTO meeting via zoom.
