Recognizing Native American Heritage Month

In 1990 President George H. W. Bush approved a joint resolution designating November 1990 “National American Indian Heritage Month.”  It is an opportunity to celebrate the culture, accomplishments, and contributions of people who were the first inhabitants of what is now the United States.

The Native American Student Union at Willamette High School created a video greeting as part of Native American Heritage Month.
