Clear Lake Supply Pick-Up: We are offering school supplies and classroom materials to all Clear Lake families free of charge. The school supply kits have materials for every student to use to engage in Comprehensive Distance Learning and their Ready Math books that they will need for class. If you aren’t able to pick up your supplies you can call our Clear Lake office at 541-689-0511 to make an appointment! We’ll get you all set up.

Air quality permitting, we are still planning on hosting our Clear Lake supply pick-up on Wednesday (9/16) and Thursday (9/17), during the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 PM. We are also going to add an additional day, Friday (9/18) from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  We are now asking families to park and enter the building at the front entrance. Individuals picking up supplies will be directed through our courtyard to the supply pick-up door at our Cafeteria. We will have social distancing procedures in place, masks are required, and families will need to follow all signage.

Parent/Guardian Access to Seesaw and Google Classroom: students will be using the Seesaw and Google Classroom online platforms as part of their Comprehensive Distance Learning.
All Clear Lake students will use Seesaw. Our students in grades 3-5 will also be using Google Classroom.

With Seesaw, students are empowered to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links.

Clear Lake Parents/Guardians are invited to create their own Seesaw account and check out the student Seesaw account to support learning at home.

  • Videos (in Spanish and English) on basic Seesaw information and how to login are HERE.
  • Written instructions (in Spanish and English) for parent/guardian/student login are HERE.
  • Access Seesaw’s informative Youtube channel HERE.

Google Classroom was designed by teachers. It provides online learning activities, measures student learning, and enhances connections with students.
Parents are invited to access their student’s Google Classroom account to support learning at home.

Operation School Bell Shopping Event: Assistance League of Eugene supports a program of student assistance called Operation School Bell. This program is made possible through the fundraising activities of the Assistance League of Eugene in cooperation with local Fred Meyer stores.

Shopping Events for school clothes at two local Fred Meyer stores have been scheduled in September and October 2020 for eligible students whose families are experiencing financial hardship.

Since the number of available shopping spots is limited, it is possible that funding may not be available for all eligible students. Selected students will be notified of the date, time and location of their Shopping Event.

If you would like your child(ren) to be considered for Operation School Bell, please email the school counselor, Sallie Lees, sallie.lees@bethel.k12.or.us or call Clear Lake 541-689-0511 by 9/18/2020.
