Clear Lake Update 9.4.2020

Hello Clear Lake Families,

School Starts on September 14th.  We are excited to see our students and reconnect after the summer. Here are a few important updates.

Meet the Teacher Night: We will host our virtual Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, September 10.

Schedule:
6:00 PM K-2 Teacher Zooms
6:30 PM 3-5 Teacher Zooms
7:00 Title Parent Presentation Zoom with Ms. Ziegler

Teachers will email links to their individual Zoom sessions to parents in their homerooms. If you have not received a link in your email by Wednesday, September 9, please call the office.

Parent Information Night with Principal Rindy: On Wednesday, September 9, Principal Rindy will host a parent information Zoom starting at 6:00 PM. He will review Comprehensive Distance Learning, schedules, attendance requirements, curriculum, and additional supports for families. We will post a Zoom link on this blog shortly before the session begins.

Technology Pick Up: If you missed Chromebook pickup last week, you can still get a computer for your student. Please call the Technology Help Desk at (541)607-1450 to schedule a time for pick up.

Supplies:  We are offering free basic school supply kits for our students as they take part in Comprehensive Distance Learning.  Watch for further communication about when you can drive through our parking lot to pick up supplies for your student.

School Starts September 14: All classes will be via Zoom. Here is the schedule. Clear Lake teachers called families last week to verify AM/PM sessions. Please call the office if you do not know your child’s schedule or AM/PM session. Zoom links for September 14th will be emailed to guardians prior to the start of school.

Eugene Library Cards Free For All Students: It can be one of the most important school supplies for any student. Now, all Bethel enrolled students will be eligible for a free Eugene Library card, regardless of whether they live within the City limits.

The Eugene Library Foundation will be mailing an application to the family of every Bethel student. The card will grant access to all the Library’s resources, including its online selections for research, school projects, eBooks, online tutors, and study help.

Watch for the application coming to your home. Our school will also have applications available at the front office.
