Students from Willamette’s Black Student Union and their advisors enjoyed an educational trip to Washington D.C. that included tours of Howard and American Universities. A generous donation from an anonymous private donor made the trip possible.

The oldest school building in Bethel School District is coming down. Cascade Middle School, built in 1955, is being demolished. In its place will be green space and the parking lot and driveway for the new Cascade, which is ready to open in September.
