Architects Selected For Largest Bond Projects

Following an extensive and comprehensive process, Bethel has selected two architectural firms for its large bond projects.

Rowell Brokaw from Eugene has been awarded the contract to design the new Cascade Middle School, the largest single project in Bethel’s $99 million bond.

Rowell Brokaw just finished designing the new North Eugene High School and previously designed the Arts and Technology Academy (formerly Jefferson Middle School.)

Design meetings have already begun with Rowell Brokaw and the District’s Steering Committee and Cascade’s Core Team.

Soderstrom Architects from Portland has been selected to design the Willamette Vocational Ed Center, the replacement Maintenance shop, Kalapuya High School addition, and the new gym at Danebo Elementary.

Soderstrom is very familiar with Bethel, having designed the WHS science addition and the new Fairfield and Malabon schools after Bethel’s 2012 bond.
