Fairfield Finishes Strong

Families! Thank you for an outstanding school year. It has been such a privilege working with your kids and seeing them accomplish great things throughout the school year. Our 5th grade departure ceremony was very special. Kids shared special thoughts of gratitude that were moving and very genuine. I have great confidence in the next step of their educational journey.

I am proud to say our teachers and students finished the year strong, and I only anticipate another exciting school year ahead!

Free Summer Meals for Bethel Kids

With schools closing for summer, Bethel’s Nutrition Services Department is helping to feed Bethel kids 18 and under with free meals. Click here to learn more about Bethel’s program and the Summer Lunch Program provided by Food for Lane County!

What Can Kids Do This Summer…reading

Read some books, write in a journal, explore the backyard, ask questions, go to the library…READ, READ, READ! Our Summer RAH program is back! Students who read over the summer and log their minutes will participate in a Summer RAH celebration when we return to school in September! Keep your kids excited about learning over vacation by engaging them in books! Our goal is to have a celebration that includes all of our students!

I wish you all a safe and enjoyable summer. If you have any thoughts or comments, please let me know. I look forward to our work together again in the fall. And, to our 5th grade families, it has been a sincere pleasure working with and getting to know you!

Happy Summer Vacation!
