Bethel schools are now able to set a tentative date for welcoming our youngest students back to school with Hybrid Instruction, with a gradual reintroduction for the rest of our students.
- By following the Bethel staff COVID vaccination timeline, Kindergarten students are tentatively scheduled to resume in-person instruction on Monday, March 15. This will be almost one year to the day that schools were closed due to the pandemic.
- In keeping with the continued vaccination schedule for Bethel staff, the intent is to begin the gradual phase-in of more elementary grades with Hybrid Instruction the following week of school (which is when we return from Spring Break) beginning Monday, March 29.
- If all goes well (with local COVID rates, staff vaccination availability, etc.), the District will also consider middle and high school.
This is a tentative timeline, remembering that for nearly a year COVID has caused us to make changes at a moment’s notice. The District continues to prepare for students keeping in mind the need to remain flexible.
It is our hope that by setting this timeline now, more than a month in advance, we all will have an ample opportunity to complete our preparations and make appropriate plans.

Las escuelas de Bethel ahora pueden establecer una fecha tentativa para dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes más jóvenes a la escuela con Instrucción híbrida, con una reintroducción gradual para el resto de nuestros estudiantes.
- Siguiendo el cronograma de vacunación COVID del personal de Bethel, los estudiantes de jardín de infantes están programados tentativamente para reanudar la instrucción en persona el lunes 15 de marzo. Esto será casi un año después del día en que las escuelas cerraron debido a la pandemia.
- De acuerdo con el calendario de vacunación continuo para el personal de Bethel, la intención es comenzar la incorporación paulatina de los grados 2-5 con instrucción híbrida la semana siguiente de clases (que es cuando regresamos de las vacaciones de primavera) a partir del lunes 29 de marzo.
