Chris Kilcullen Memorial Garden at Willamette High School
On Memorial Day, May 28th, Willamette High School will be sponsoring the first annual WHS Memorial 5K run/walk. All proceeds go directly to the Officer Kilcullen Memorial Garden fund. If you are interested in taking part, you can download a flyer with information about the race and a registration form.
With the blessing of Officer Chris Kilcullen’s wife, the Willamette Leadership students, parents, alumni, and staff have been working to raise enough funds to dedicate a special memorial garden in memory of him. Chris Kilcullen was killed in the line of duty on April 22, 2011. Chris was a 1986 graduate of Willamette High School and a long time friend, supporter, and protector of the District. The garden will be located in the center of the WHS campus.
