Monique Siemerink, Special Services Director

As the Director of Special Services, Monique leads many instructional and health based initiatives and grant programs and provides support and direction for special services staff including special education staff, counselors, and nurses. Monique’s focus is on ensuring each student has access to a free and appropriate public education.

Mindy Le Roux, Assistant Director

As the Assistant Director of Special Services, Mindy supports special education teachers and specialists in providing services to students as well as ensuring District compliance with federal and state laws.

Kim Breeding, Secretary

Lisa Bateman, Behavior Specialist

Nicole Zwink, Adaptive Physical Education Specialist

Nicole ensures that all students in Bethel have the opportunity to develop motor skills and improve fitness via participation in the physical education curriculum. When students have difficulty taking part, Nicole, staff, and parents decide upon a plan that facilitates participation in the general curriculum, provides an alternative, or offers a combination of learning situations. Daniel Duss, School Psychologist

Daniel works as a school psychologist for Prairie Mountain School, Danebo Elementary, and Fairfield Elementary. His primary responsibilities involve assessing students for specific academic and behavioral disabilites, evaluating data, and determining special education eligibility based on federal regulations. He also works closely with teachers, counselors, and other school personnel on a consultative basis providing support for pre-referral services. Heidi Burk, School Psychologist

Heidi is a school psychologist at Prairie Mountain School, Shasta Middle School, and Irving Elementary. Her primary responsibilities include evaluating students for special education and consulting with parents, teachers, and other school staff regarding student social, emotional, cognitive, academic, and behavioral challenges.  Heidi may be reached by phone at 541-689-0512, ext 2022.

Chad Harrison, School Psychologist

Chad is a School Psychologist for Willamette, Kalapuya, and all out of district settings for high school students. Chad brings to Bethel a wealth of experience and knowledge in supporting students with behavioral challenges and working within the framework of Positive Behavior Support to encourage student learning.

Amanda Godard, Secretary
