Student Leaders at Shasta have planned a week devoted to helping students throughout Shasta identify their strengths (or protective factors). Sources of Strength is a universal evidence based Suicide Prevention program that helps students support other students with the ultimate goal of preventing suicide. Our Shasta leaders have chosen to introduce Sources of Strength through an entire week of activities, raffles, and color days. You will see the list of colors and activities below. We appreciate your support and please contact our school counselor at 541-607-1444 with questions or a desire to help.

Bethel is opening our registration process early this year! You should be receiving an email the week of June 3rd with instructions on how to register your student for the 2019-2020 school year. We will be using an online registration system this year to make it easier for families.
Online registration is not required, Shasta is welcoming families to come to the school on August 15th (8:00 am – 8:00 pm) to complete the registration process. We are encouraging parents to attend, as a few items are not incorporated in the online registration process, including:
- Volunteer sign-up
- PTO sign-up
- Yearbook purchase ($20)
- PE clothes purchase ($8/shorts, $7/shirt, $12/sweatshirt)
We would also like to welcome you to our annual Meet & Greet on Wednesday, August 28th (4:00 pm – 6:00 pm). We will be giving out student schedules and handbooks at this time. Teachers will also be available for you to stop by and meet in their classrooms.
Also, we will have our Shasta Open House on Thursday, September 19th (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm). Come and learn about Shasta and what your student will be learning during the upcoming school year.
If you have any questions, please contact the Shasta office at (541) 688-9611.
