Fairfield Elementary building

At Fairfield, we strive to build strong relationships with our families. This is critical to our goals of seeing all students experience success. Our Fairfield Vision is to work together to…

Engage students in their learning experiences

Excite students by making learning fun, rewarding, and challenging!

Inspire all students to strive to be their best and believe they can do anything!

Expect all students to rise to rigorous expectations and excel!

Unite…come together as a Fairfield community to see all of our students succeed!

Our doors are open and we are here to serve you
and our students.

A little about our history…
The original Fairfield Elementary was constructed in 1953. While it served Fairfield children well, the old school was not intended to last as long as it did. In November of 2012, Bethel voters approved a $49.5 million bond measure with a 73% Yes vote. The Bethel Bond included funds to construct a new Fairfield school just behind the old school.

With significant input from Fairfield families and school staff, Soderstrom Architecture designed the new school and it was built by Essex Construction. Ribbon cutting officially opened our beautiful new building on September 3, 2015.

We are forever grateful for the Bethel community for their generosity and willingness to invest in the future of our children. Here is a time lapse video of the construction of the New Fairfield.
