All K-5 families are invited and encouraged to join us at our annual, spectacular Back to School Night and Pizza Feast this Thursday, 9/13, starting at 5:30.
Here are the important event details:
Pizza will be served from 5:30-7:00. The cost is $4.00 per plate and includes a slice of pizza, salad, lemonade or water.
Free childcare is provided for Prairie Mountain students in grades K-2, and will be available from 5:15-6:45.
There are TWO presentation sessions for you to choose from. You do not need to attend both sessions; please attend the session that works best for you, and enjoy your pizza dinner with your family either before or after your session.
Session 1: 5:30-6:00
Session 2: 6:05-6:35
Interpreters will be available, please contact your student’s homeroom teacher as soon as possible to request an interpreter.
Thank you to all families who are using our carpool lane. Please review these important reminders regarding the the carpool lane:
- Please remember that our carpool lane is for drivers transporting students from their own family along with students from other families. If you are only transporting your own children, please do not use the carpool lane.
- Please do not use the carpool lane before school; our carpool lane runs after school only.
- Please stay in your vehicle and wait for your students to come to you. Never leave your vehicle.
- If you need a carpool card for your vehicle, cards are available in the office. You will need to provide the make and model of your vehicle as well as names of all the students you transport.

Hello Prairie Mountain 8th Grade Parents and Students!
Mr. Lees is going to Washington D.C. again this summer! We still have space for 8th grade students and parents. Students are learning about early U.S. history in class and will now have an opportunity to experience it first hand at our nation’s capital.
An informational meeting for newly interested parents and students is on Thursday, September 20th at 6pm in room 37. Students will receive an invitation from Mr. Lees with more details. I hope to see you there!

Elementary School Health Screening
Health Screenings for grades K -5 will be done at Prairie Mountain October 25, 2018. Screenings will include vision and dental. Please contact your school Health Assistant if you do not want your child to participate in health screening. Please consider being a parent volunteer on their screening day!
