Prairie Mountain PTO Sign-up

Hello Mountaineers,

I wanted to share a couple things with you all.

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to our first PTO meeting a couple weeks ago.  It meant so much to me to see all of your faces and to be able to talk to you about all of the amazing things that our PTO does for students and staff here on the Mountain.  I’m excited to move into our Prairie Mountain PTO 2.0 format.  For those that didn’t attend please take a peek at the slide show below for more information about this change.  Also during this meeting, folks who attended filled out a PTO Meeting Time/Date Survey and the results overwhelmingly showed that people would like to have 5:30-6:30pm meetings.  Survey and you shall receive!  Our meetings will now be from 5:30-6:30pm.

We hope that you all can come to our next PTO meeting which is next Tuesday, October 9th, from 5:30-6:30pm in our caforium.  We will have snacks, childcare and translation services available during our meeting.  At this meeting we will focus our time on Project Leaders, Up-coming Projects, and I will talk a bit about my focus and vision for the school year.

Secondly, we would like for you to save the date for our October Harvest Carnival.  We are so lucky to have Nick Johnson and Alysia Jessee as our new Harvest Carnival Project Leaders.  They have great ideas, high energy and a strong motivation to make it a great event.  Our Carnival this year will be on October 26th from 5:30-7:30pm here on the Mountain.  We will have fun carnival games, the Adrenaline Rush Bounce House, and yummy snacks.  If you are interested in volunteering at the Harvest Carnival or for any other PTO project please click on this link

If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call here at school (541)607-9849.

Thank you all for inspiring me each and every day.

  • What an amazing PTO meeting last night !! Energy, enthusiasm and encouragement inspired everyone to feel part of the whole..manageable projects and teamwork punctuated Mrs RW’s outlined goals for the coming year…all participation is valued and no contribution deemed “too small” and for busy parents and families this was a welcome consideration. I was most impressed by the recognition of Prairie Mountain Teachers and Staff who provide such consistency and care for our students. Thank you Mrs. RW for acknowledging the PTO leadership ..they inspire all of us to feel capable and appreciated .
