Willamette Newsletter: 2/20/12

WHS staff recently met to review the successes of first semester, and to discuss ways we can continue to work to meet the needs of all Willamette High School students.  One of our biggest initiatives has been building a college-going culture at WHS, and staff reviewed data on the number of students that are pursuing two and four-year degrees at colleges and universities across the country.  Over the last three years, we have seen a 9% increase in post-secondary enrollment, as more students understand the necessity of specialized training beyond high school to pursue the employment opportunities they wish to obtain.

Look for information over the next months on more college and career events to help build this culture of success for each student at WHS!
