Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance
The Bethel School District fully supports the ADA and its requirement to make Websites ADA compliant. We are actively working to meet and maintain those requirements.
Bethel 8th graders are already making plans for moving on to high school.
All the District’s 8th graders have been touring Willamette High School this week, guided around campus by current WHS Leadership students.
It’s been an eye-opening experience for the students who are the big kids back at their schools. They walked the campus, some sat in on classes, and learned about the multitude of course offerings that await them and how to sign-up for classes now.
Parents of 8th graders get their own introduction to Willamette on March 21st at 8th Grade Parent Night. It will be an opportunity to learn about the International Baccalaureate program, and the many clubs, activities, sports, and electives at Wil-Hi.
It’s all making the transition to high school much more real for everyone.
They work directly with kids, parents, other educators, volunteers and community members, and are critical to the success of Bethel students.
They are instrumental to the operation of every aspect of Bethel School District, and this week we take time to pay special thanks to our Classified employees.
Our hard-working Classified employees assist classroom teachers, serve up healthy meals, provide safe transportation, clean and maintain our facilities, manage offices, and perform many other vital tasks every day for the benefit of Bethel children.
Thank a Classified employee today.
The 12th annual ACE (A Champion in Education) Awards will honor local teachers, classified staff, volunteers and administrators.

It’s important to follow these nominating tips.
Submissions are being accepted through March 24th. The nominees will be celebrated and the “Champions” will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 25th at the Hult Center’s Soreng Theater.
The ACE Awards are generously sponsored by the local business community, Oregon Community Credit Union, and the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce.
