With two weeks before the start of the school year on September 14, here is valuable information for Irving families and students.
Schedules: Teachers will be reaching out to you this week (if they haven’t already) to share and confirm whether your child will be attending the morning or afternoon session of our Comprehensive Distance Learning days. Our goal is to have classes that are balanced in number in order to plan the highest quality of experiences for students. Chromebooks: Chromebook distribution began Monday. If your child needs a district-provided Chromebook to take part in Comprehensive Distance Learning, here is the schedule for pickup in the parking lot at Willamette High School.
Online Learning Systems: Seesaw will be used for instruction at the K-2 level and made available to grade 3-5 classes. Students in grades 3-5 will also be accessing Google Classroom to support learning. Zoom Meet Your Teacher
Irving is also planning a Virtual Meet Your Teacher via Zoom on Thursday September 10th in the evening. I will be sending out more information and Zoom Links soon.
