Mr. James: Jog-a-Thon (two days)

Parents, Families, and Friends,

The jog-a-thon is just two days away! All the pledges and donations collected will help the school and our students. It’s not too late to ask that next door neighbor or aunt for sponsorship.

Mr. James: Jog-a-Thon (This Friday!)

Parents, Families, and Friends,

We are now in the week of the jog-a-thon. These are your last few days to go out and round-up pledges and donations. During financial times that are a little more difficult at the building level, our PTO makes an enormous difference! Thanks to all of the people who have been emailing me and letting me know how their children are doing with their pledge envelopes. We definitely have a few Irving students who have a career in sales!

Regards,

~greg

Mr. James: Jog-a-Thon (coming soon!)

Parents, Families, and Friends,

Here is your daily jog-a-thon reminder. The buzz has been picking up about student pledges and bold predictions on how many laps will be run. We had a couple more parents volunteer to help out at the event. If you are interested, please let me know and we will appreciatively put you to work!

How Does PTO Support Students?

#4- Community events such as our themed dance parties, BINGO Nights, and  Back to School BBQ are PTO driven and funded. The aforementioned events are meant to build relationships and get families together. In order to put on the fun family nights, we rely on our fall fundraiser and upcoming jog-a-thon to raise funds.

Mr. James: Jog-a-Thon (7 Days)

Parents, Families, and Friends,

We are seven days from the jog-a-thon, and the early weather report is showing mostly sunny and 63 degrees. When you are collecting donations and pledges, please use the the following ID number for tax purposes (90-0114708). Also, we are still in need of volunteers, Especially at the fourth and fifth grade level.

How Does PTO Support Our Students?

#3- Through generous funding, the PTO supports field trips for our classes. During hard financial times, being able to take advantage of learning opportunities away from our campus is hard to fund. PTO is dedicated to making these opportunities happen.
