Technology and Your Child
One reliable resource for the topic of technology and our kids is: www.commonsensemedia.org. A great article regarding technology and parental controls, in particular, can be found here: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/blog/parents-ultimate-guide-to-parental-controls
The first round of friendship/social skills groups began in October and will continue through December. We are having a great time teaching social skills and building new relationships in each group. If you are interested in your child participating in a group starting in January, please contact me or your child’s teacher.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up on December 4th and 5th. If you have not turned in your conference request forms please do so as soon as possible. If you need a conference scheduling form click here. Conference forms may be turned into classroom teachers or the office. Thanks!
Irving Food Drive
We invite Irving Families to help us collect non-perishable food items for families in need from November 18th-December 11th. There is a Food For Lane County barrel located in the office for all of your food donations. Please click here for food items needed. Thank you for your generosity!
