Fairfield Shines in Bethel Talent Show
If you missed it, here’s your chance to watch it! The Fabulous Fairfield Faculty, along with some little Falcons, shined in the 2nd annual Bethel Talent Show. All proceeds raised in the District wide event go to the Bethel Education Foundation. Beginning now, teachers from all over the district can apply for mini grants, money to put toward a project, technology, or activities for their classroom.
With great work, preparation, and hours of practice, the Fairfield staff made the audience aware that even though “YOU CAN’T TOUCH THIS…” there are plenty of things we have the power to touch. Watch the clip but be careful. You may be enticed to get out those old 80′s outfits and find yourself dancing to it as well!

October is Here!
Volunteers Welcome!
Can you believe October is aleady here! Classrooms are into their routines and great teaching and learning is already happening at Fairfield. If you are interested in volunteering, we WANT YOU! Help in classrooms is always greatly appreciated. You can work with readers, assist with writing conferences, become a math mentor, or simply help out with clerical tasks inthe classroom. If you are interested, make sure a volunteer form is completed and returned to the office. You can access the application in the office. Fairfield doors are open to the community!
Bethel Talent Show is Wednesday
Come out and support your Fairfield Staff at the Bethel Talent Show Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30p.m at Powers Auditorium. Tickets are on sale in the Fairfield office for $7.00. Come out and watch Mrs. Young, Miss Falcone, Miss Schunk, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Greenamyer, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Light, Mrs. Jacobs, Mrs. Jamieson, Miss Muzanna, and Ms. Sink as we put on our dancing shoes and shine for Fairfield. All proceeds from the Talent Show go the the Bethel Education Foundation, providing grant opportunities for all Bethel Schools! We hope to see you there.

First Day of School
Mark your calendars. Tuesday, September 6th is the first day of the 2011/2012 school year.
Doors open at 8:05 a.m. to all students who would like to enjoy a free breakfast. At 8:35 a.m. all students are directed to their homeroom class which will begin promplty at 8:45 a.m. Students will be dismissed to go home at 2:45 p.m.
We are looking forward to an exciting school year.
Registration 2011-12
It’s that time again. Come out next week for registration and get your students registered and ready for an exciting new school year at Fairfield. Registration days are Tuesday, August 16th from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 17th from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER, even if they are returning or pre-registered in the spring. If you have a conflict with our registration days, please contact the office M-F from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 541-689-3751 to let us know when you plan to register.
At the time of registration there will be a $20 school supply fee due per student. Please be prepared to pay the fee. This fee is for all school supplies throughout the school year for your student, you will only need to provide a backpack.
Fairfield’s new Principal, Ms. Jenny Sink, would like to invite you to bring your students with you when you register and enjoy a “popsicle with the Principal”. This is always a fun time to meet students and families.
