Play Works Recess Week
We could sure use your help this next week…It’s Play Works Recess Week! Play Works is an organized recess program that has been implemented at Fairfield. This next week is dedicated to going back to the roots of the games, revisiting rules, and working together. We are looking for volunteers to come out and play the games with kids during recess. Recesses are 9:45, 10:30, 11:00 – 12:30, and 1:15 – 2:00. If you’re interested in coming out and playing some wall ball, four-square, basketball bump, organized TAG, hopscotch or Switch, Fairfield is the place to be. Game rules will be available so you’ll be learning along with kids. Please reply, call our school, or email me if you’re interested in coming out for any time you can offer.
Our April PTO meeting is Monday the 10th from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Come join us as we plan for our much-anticipated Jog-a-Thon in May. Our kids love this event. While we are earning money for our school, the main focus is on our kids having fun while they get out and move, challenging themselves to do their best. We need help which means, we need you. Please join us if you can.
