Walk & Roll To School Day

Wednesday, 10/2, is National Walk & Roll to School Day and Danebo has some great prizes for students who use alternate ways to get to school.

Students who walk, scooter, bike, run, or bus to school will receive individual prizes and have the opportunity to enter in a drawing for a scooter, mini skateboard, bike lock and other prizes.

Students should check in at the Walk & Roll tables located in front of the office to get their prizes and raffle tickets.

Picture Day, Thursday, October 3rd

Life Touch will be at Danebo on Thursday, October 3rd to take photos of our students.

All students will have their pictures taken and parents can choose to purchase picture packets if they want. If you choose to purchase pictures, you can send your payment and packet choices to school with your child, or order directly from Life Touch online.

Assistance League Food Pantry at Danebo

Danebo is fortunate to have an amazing partnership with the Assistance League of Eugene.

Every Thursday, families can stop by the Danebo Cafeteria between 2:30 and 3:15 to pick up food staples. Items like cereal, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables are brought in each week (thanks to a partnership that the Assistance League has with Fred Meyer stores) for families to pick up and take home.

The AL Food Pantry is open to all Danebo families at no cost. We do ask that you bring your own reusable bag (but if you forget, we can help you out).

If you stop in the Food Pantry, be sure to say thanks to the Assistance League Volunteers. Without them, this amazing opportunity for our families would not exist.

Success at the PTO Jog-a-thon

Many thanks to all of the Danebo families who supported students at our PTO Jog-a-thon last Friday. Students did a great job walking and running for their 25 minute time slot AND the rain held off until later in the day!

Students should be collecting pledges and donations and bring them to school by Friday, October 4th.

Stay tuned for prizes (top sellers, top runners)!
