Bethel Fact for the Week of May 7, 2012

This is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Our teachers are working harder than ever. Expectations for student achievement are, appropriately, higher than ever. Reduced funding has increased class size and decreased school days. Our teachers have sacrificed salary and benefits to reduce costs. Yet they are still focusing on the mission of preparing every student to graduate and succeed in college or with their career. When you see a teacher this week…thank them…they are an incredible resource to our community.
