Commencement Honors The WHS Class of 2018

Whether indoors or outside, the graduation ceremony at Willamette traditionally concludes with mortarboards sent flying.

Close to 300 Willamette High School seniors walked across the stage to receive their diplomas as the graduating class of 2018.

Juanita Dominguez, Daniel Gerlach and David Trujillo delivered speeches, and Isaiah Moore and McKayla Webb performed musical numbers before a packed house in the WHS main gym.

Rain forced the commencement ceremony indoors for the second consecutive year but it didn’t detract from the event.

The 69th graduating class at Willamette is now heading to college, trade schools, careers, travel and the military.
