Little Women Prepared For Big Show

After months of rehearsal, the Willamette production of Little Women will take the stage for three performances this week.

The early reviews are in: “It will make your heart soar!” “Terrific music, fun stories, and impressive performers.” “Run, don’t walk, to Willamette’s musical.”

The curtains open Thursday for the three-day run of Little Women on the Willamette High School stage.

More than 40 students have spent an incredible number of hours rehearsing for the musical based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic 1869 semi-autobiographical novel.

The Civil War story of love and family will make you laugh – and maybe cry – and will certainly lift your spirits.

You will be impressed with the performance by Willamette students Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, 7:00 in Powers Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 with tickets available at the door: $5 students/Bethel staff, and $7 general admission.

One Response to Little Women Prepared For Big Show

  • An amazing effort by our Wil-Hi students and their amazing support staff of teachers, volunteers and techies. There was a bumpy intermission in Friday night’s performance, but you could tell that every kid was committed to the ideal that “the show must go on!” What a gift your talents are–high praise for everyone involved.
