OBOB’s Back

Middle school teams from Prairie Mountain huddle before answering questions in the school’s final battle for the right to go to the state OBOB regional tournament. Bethel will host the OBOB middle level regional for the 6th year in a row.

Final school-level battles are taking place as Bethel students square off in the Oregon Battle of the Books.

OBOB – the quick-recall competition featuring teams of four – quizzes students on questions pulled from 16 designated books.

Each school sends its top team to the state regional competition, and those school battles are wrapping up now.

Bethel will host the middle level regional tournament for the 6th consecutive year. 33 middle school teams from throughout Lane County will gather at Willamette High School on March 11th.

North Eugene High School hosts the elementary tournament. The top three elementary teams and top two middle school teams at regionals advance to the state finals in Salem in April.
