Students Receive Kits For Dental Health

Oregon has one of the highest rates of childhood dental disease in the country. That’s why United Way of Lane County and Burley Bicycles are teaming up provide children in Lane County with a dental kit that includes a toothbrush and toothpaste, floss, and a timer.

All Bethel students from Kindergarten through 6th grade are receiving the dental kits.

We caught up with the Kindergarten and 1st grade students in Kelly Ciaverelli’s class at Clear Lake as they received their dental kits.

  • Wonderful to see that the kids are excited about dental care. The teacher did a great job informing the students on proper brushing.
