Willamette Leadership and National Honor Society students join UO students in beautifying the WHS campus on the MLK Day of Service.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” Martin Luther King Jr.’s question was answered at Willamette High School with a Day of Service on MLK Day.

The holiday was recognized with a Day On of service rather than a day off of work or school.

Wil-Hi Leadership and National Honor Society students joined volunteers from the University of Oregon’s Holden Center to beautify the WHS campus.

New plants, fresh bark, a clean coat of paint are evidence of their day of service.
