Willamette students are celebrating today’s front page story in the Register-Guard noting that Willamette’s graduation rate is now the highest among the large local public schools in Eugene and Springfield.

Willamette students are celebrating the front page story in the Register-Guard noting that Willamette’s graduation rate is now the highest among the large local public schools in Eugene and Springfield.

Willamette High School’s graduation rate is now the highest among the large public schools in Eugene and Springfield.

At 78% Willamette’s grad rate is 10 points higher than the state average. In addition, the District rate is the best in the area and above the state average, and Kalapuya students are also significantly outperforming their local counterparts.

Congrats go out to our hard-working kids and staff, from kindergarten through 12th grade, especially during a time when resources are low, while requirements and accountability are higher than ever.

So as the work continues throughout the district, here’s a well-earned hooray!

  • Kudos to all Bethel educators who were instrumental or played a part in the large number of high school graduates.

    • At some point, Colt Gill is going to have to take responsibility for his brilliant leadership. Consider this a giant THANK YOU for the dedication and vision that has brought Bethel so much to celebrate.
