Swim Team Makes A Splash
10 swimmers from Willamette will leap into the state championships in Portland.
For the first time in school history the Willamette Boys Swim team has claimed the District title.
10 Wil-Hi boys and girls are headed to the state swim meet: Elijah Yang, Colton Mask, Nate Coddington, Sam Mar, Zack Freeman, Jessee Riggs, Alycia Thatcher, Alicia Parks, Haley Smith and Alexis Bergfeld.
Yang won his first district title in the 200 individual medley, added a win in the 100 breaststroke and helped Willamette claim the 200 medley relay.
The Willamette girls won the 200 freestyle relay on the way to a fourth place finish at Districts.
