Optimism Opens Bethel’s School Year

Malabon students line up for recess on the first day of school…a double reason to be happy!

Parents with cameras, kids with new clothes, and teachers with welcoming smiles. Scenes like that could be found throughout Bethel School District on the first day of the 2012-13 school year.

Bethel begins with fewer staff members and larger class sizes than we had in June, but the enthusiasm to be back in school was as infectious as ever.

In the coming weeks school will be extra busy with Picture Days, Health Screenings, Curriculum Nights and Open Houses.

In the meantime the optimism from the first day of school is just the boost everyone needs to make this another great year in Bethel.

One Response to Optimism Opens Bethel’s School Year

Irving had a great day yesterday. The kids were so excited, and happy to meet our new Principal and new teachers. Mr. Bridgens made his way around to each class, spent time on the playground and in the lunchroom getting a feel for Irving. I heard all good things from the kids from start to finish! Thank you Mr Bridgens for a great start!
